natural gas stocks Piedmont Natural Gas Week of Giving 2011 Days 1 & 2 - Toys For Tots & Hospitality House of Charlotte

Piedmont Natural Gas is celebrating the 2011 holiday season with a Week of Giving, beginning Monday, December 5. During this weeklong celebration, Piedmont employees are volunteering at and collecting items for seven nonprofit organizations in the Charlotte area, as well as encouraging everyone in community to join in giving back to those who may be struggling during the holiday season.

The first day of the Week of Giving involved a collection drive for Toys For Tots. Hundreds of toys were donated before being picked up by the U.S. Marines, who delivered the toys to a Toys For Tots reception at Del Frisco's Restaurant. On the second day, Piedmont volunteers assembled goodie bags and cooked dinner for guests at the Hospitality House of Charlotte, which provides shelter to people from out of town who are visiting loved ones in Charlotte-area hospitals.
